The size is much larger than the ML-L3 and it was randomly unresponsive (maybe a defective unit) when paired with a Nikon D40. For a little more i would rather have the fantastic ML-L3 which i've used on my D70s.

Although the product stated "Similar to Nikon ML-L3" and having specifications of similar weight, it is actually much larger than my expectation (the actual size is about double the width and length of original Nikon's, except the thickness is quite similar). I found it less convenient to use as one cannot fully grab it within a palm.
