Vanguard Skyborne 49 Backpack (Black)

The black Skyborne 49 Backpack from Vanguard is a large pack designed to hold your DSLR with grip and 300mm f/4 lens attached. You'll also have room for additional 4-6 lenses, accessories and your 12" laptop that is held in its own anti-theft removable sleeve complete with handle and shoulder strap. A tripod can be mounted on the rear of the pack by fitting the feet in a convenient pocket and the legs held firmly in place by a strap.

Access to your gear is via the front 270° zipper that exposes the contents for rapid retrieval. Movable dividers help you sculpt the interior to suit your gear and enable you to nest each piece in its own space thereby preventing it from bumping against another piece. The two elastic straps will hold your long lens in place while attached to your DSLR. A side zippered pocket is provided for small items such as memory cards, lens cap or a small note pad.

The bag is made from a polyester/nylon/velvet combination and supported by a rain cover that will add another layer of protection to your equipment when the weather turns against you. The harness system is well-padded and adjustable. The waist belt is adjustable, padded and also removable. The back panel is padded for support making the pack more comfortable to carry around-especially with a heavy load packed inside. Vanguard uses their air infused (filled) technology to provide maximum comfort while you're walking. The bottom of the bag has also been air infused for ground protection and helps protect the contents when the pack is placed on the ground or dropped.

It also comes with a sternum strap for added balance. Other features include a water bottle holder, cell phone pocket and trolley sleeve that enables you to thread your Skyborne over an optional luggage cart. Vanguard backs the Skyborne with its limited lifetime warranty.
