The lightning connector version of the RØDE iXY Stereo Microphone is designed for portable audio recording applications using a Lightning connector iOS device (e.g. iPhone 5/s/c). It can be used for recording music, interviews, sound design, film-making, and more. The device features a metal housing to help reduce electromagnetic interference around two condenser microphone elements positioned in an XY configuration and an integrated iClamp for securing the microphone to your mobile device. The unit can records at up to 24-bit 96 kHz resolution using the RØDE Rec App, available from the Apple iTunes App store. A 72 Hz high pass filter can be engaged in software to reduce unwanted low frequency noise.
