The NT1 Large Diaphragm Condenser Microphone Kit with SMR Shockmount from Rode is a large diaphragm condenser and features Rode's HF6 capsule as well as an internal shockmount based on Rycote's Lyre technology for protection against vibration. The NT1's circuitry is assembled in Australia by Rode engineers and boasts a 4.5dBA level of self-noise for quiet operation.
The included SMR shockmount also has a dual-Lyre suspension to reduce vibrations and is constructed from a reinforced polymer to evenly distribute vibrations to increase the effectiveness of the Lyre. The integrated pop shield is made of medical-grade stainless steel and has a silicon damper between the outer panels for reduced resonance.
