Parrot Flight Recorder for AR.Drone 2.0 Quadcopter
The Parrot Flight Recorder is a GPS receiver that plugs into the USB port on the AR.Drone 2.0 Quadcopter. Adding the Flight Recorder will expose the AR.Drone 2.0 to a number of additional features, most notably GPS-assisted stabilization and autopilot. It also features 4 GB embedded flash memory to store flight data as well as record up to 2 hours of video. A female USB port allows you to connect a flash drive for additional capacity.
These new features can then be accessed using a supported app for the AR.Drone 2.0 such as AR.FreeFlight for Android and iOS. In addition, flight plans for the Click & Go Control Mode can mapped at home using QGround Control, a free open-source application available for Windows, OSX and Linux.
