Designed for photographing distant subjects, the 500mm f/8 Preset Telephoto Lens from Opteka is a super telephoto prime featuring a threaded T mount for adapting to a wide variety of camera types. Its optical design is fully multi-coated to suppress lens flare, ghosting, and surface reflections for increased contrast and color neutrality when working in strong lighting conditions. Manual exposure control is possible via the direct aperture dial, and manual focus operation permits working with subjects as close as 33' away. A soft lens pouch is included with the lens to protect it during storage or travel.

This lens is compatible with full-frame and smaller-sized sensors and features a threaded T-mount, which is compatible with a variety of optional adapters for mounting to various camera mounts.
 
Multi-coated optics help to reduce lens flare and ghosting for increased contrast and color fidelity.
Manual focus design offers a minimum focusing distance of 33'.
