Designed as a general purpose optic, the Minox 10x42 BF Binocular combines multiple technologies to provide the performance required for use while hunting, birding, or enjoying a game. The 42mm objectives straddle a fine line between size and weight to give the binocular competent low-light performance without weighing you down or being too bulky. Anti-reflection multi-coatings on all optical surfaces and phase-correcting prism coatings work together to produce high-contrast images that are bright and clear with accurate color rendition. A wide 60° apparent angle of view helps to minimize the image shake common to 10x magnifications to provide an immersive viewing experience, while its minimum focus distance comes in at less than four feet so you can make detailed observations on feeding birds or butterflies with ease.
Designed to withstand the rigors of a life lived outdoors, the chassis is constructed of a lightweight and durable aluminum alloy. A black, rubberized armor covers the chassis to help give you a slip-resistant grip - especially in cold or wet conditions, while providing protection from bumps and impacts. The optical tubes are nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed for fogproof performance when moving through extreme temperature variations, while also making it waterproof to a depth of 10 feet. For long-duration glassing sessions, the BF is tripod mountable with an optional adapter, and twist-up eyecups ensure the perfect eye relief with or without eyewear.
