The MINIX NEO U1 Streaming Media Hub for Android offers detailed picture quality and access to a wide library of streaming content, apps, and other services. Once you've connected the NEO U1 to your TV, you'll be able to enjoy streaming content such as movies, shows, music, and games—not to mention local media playback via 3 built-in USB ports. Additionally, you'll be able to access premium movie and music services, such as Netflix, HBO GO, and Spotify (premium subscriptions may be required, sold separately).

The NEO U1 supports video resolutions up to 4K at 60Hz, and multi-channel surround sound, when paired with compatible equipment. For Internet connectivity, the NEO U1 is equipped with high-speed, dual-band 802.11ac 2 x 2 MIMO Wi-Fi and supports wired RJ-45 gigabit Ethernet via its LAN port. Additionally it supports hotspot sharing over Wi-Fi, which allows you to wirelessly mirror and share content from your compatible smart devices. Bluetooth technology is built in for communicating with compatible peripheral accessories, and an IR remote control is included to access and control the hub and on-screen user interface.

Fast and fluid content browsing is enabled by the device's quad-core, 64-bit Cortex A53 processor and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system, which supports MINIX's proprietary homescreen launcher. The NEO U1 also has 2GB of RAM for multi-tasking and 16GB of built-in storage. If additional storage is required, you can utilize the on-board microSD card slot.

This OS supports MINIX's exclusive launcher, which presents a clean and accessible interface that makes finding what you want intuitive and easy. MINIX's F.O.T.A (Firmware-Over-The-Air) Update System means all updates will be available to download and install automatically onto your NEO U1.
