The MH-C800S features EIGHT independent circuits that charge ONE to EIGHT AA or AAA batteries in any combination.

 

The MH-C800S will also charge the new ENELOOP rechargeable batteries from SANYO with absolute precision and safety.

LCD Display
The MH-C800S charger incorporates a large LCD screen displaying the charging status of each battery. The English-language-based display (CHARGE, DONE, CONDITIONING, etc) replaces traditional LED indicators.

The MH-C800S provides user with the option to choose between a soft charge and a fast charge mode. The soft charge delivers the highest battery life and allows 100% compatibility with older, lower capacity batteries. After two years normal usage the screen kept flashing "Done" without any batteries inserted. Found quite alot user having the same problem over the same products, mostly after 1+ year or 2 years.

been using this charger since 2010.. so far so good.. still works as advertised, and im using them to charge eneloop batts as well. its 2014 this year.. hope it carries on trucking for a another couple of years yet.

Really like the idea of having the ability to charge 8 batteries at one go and more fantastic is it had individual charging circuit. As an engineer myself I'm sold with that features alone. When a battery is under charging mode the indicator will show " Charge"(with the fuel cell gauge indicating the level of charging) and when it's done charging it will indicate "Done". This features is much better than the old charger that I own(only LED light turning from red to green) Unfortunately the copy that I received had a bad LCD indicator. 2 out of the 8 gauge/display is showing "Charge" and "Done" at the same time. Initially I thought I must have a really bad battery charging at the slot. Try to swapped the battery and the problem still persist at the same slots. Return the product . Hopefully the replacement unit will be better.

Been used for few years. Once of the best charger i having now. Not function few months ago but after check found that the cable not connect due to rough handling, soldered back and work like a charm. must have if need to charge more then 4 batteries in 1 time.
