The MH-C800S features EIGHT independent circuits that charge ONE to EIGHT AA or AAA batteries in any combination.

 

The MH-C800S will also charge the new ENELOOP rechargeable batteries from SANYO with absolute precision and safety.

LCD Display
The MH-C800S charger incorporates a large LCD screen displaying the charging status of each battery. The English-language-based display (CHARGE, DONE, CONDITIONING, etc) replaces traditional LED indicators.

Selectable Soft and Rapid Charge Modes
The MH-C800S provides user with the option to choose between a soft charge and a fast charge mode. The soft charge delivers the highest battery life and allows 100% compatibility with older, lower capacity batteries. The fast charge allows eight batteries to be fully charged to their maximum capacity in around one hour!

Just received and used a week. When battery still charging or fully charge done. The battery get very very hot! And weird di di sound per second from the charger. Worst charger.

Contacted maha directly and they will replace defective unit if it's Within 3 years of date of Purchase. Mine was exceeded so I can't have a replacement. Such a pity. It's seems a good charger.

i have this unit since 2011 and was working fine until recently where as the previous reviewer mentioned that the DONE status kept flashing after the system test.
