MAGIX VEGAS Pro 18 is a Windows-compatible nonlinear editing software with vast sets of video and audio editing features. VEGAS has always stood out for providing many audio features, and that still applies. Yet, in addition to these tools, VEGAS Pro 18 also includes Sound Forge Pro 14 for a fully-comprehensive multichannel audio editing workflow. You can import dialog, sound effects, and music into Sound Forge, use tools such as noise removal, metering, and visualization, and then export a final mix right back into your VEGAS Pro timeline in a seamless and efficient round trip. Also, in line with the VEGAS legacy, VEGAS Pro 18 offers an open timeline that allows you to mix and match a wide variety of video and audio formats without transcoding them.
New features include Style Transfer and Colorization AI tools. With Style Transfer, you can apply the visual styles of famous paintings and other works of art to your video footage. This is done by simply selecting one of these masterpieces from a dropdown. Examples include the Japanese woodblock print, The Great Wave off Kanagawa. Colorization similarly lets you work with dropdowns and adjustment bars to visibly change the colors of objects or sections of your footage.
