This small low-tech device creates soft, flattering light by using a small mirror to redirect light from your camera's pop-up flash to a ceiling or wall, which reflects the light, spreading it out and softening it, for greatly improved photos. Just slip the Lightscoop over your camera's pop-up flash, follow the simple directions, and, bingo!--you can stop deleting half your pictures because of the ugly lighting.

In addition to this standard mirror, a warming mirror which adds a light amber color for more pleasing skin tones is available separately.

The Lightscoop is designed for use only with Sony DSLRs using interchangeable lenses with a pop-up, built-in flash--the flash on point-and-shoot cameras isn't strong enough for use with the Lightscoop.

For non-Sony cameras, you must use the Lightscoop Universal Standard or Universal Warming Mirror. This Sony Standard Mirror Lightscoop is compatible with Sony a200, a250, a300, a350, a330, a380, a500, a550, a700 cameras.
