The 240GB 2.5" SSDNow V300 Solid State Drive Notebook Upgrade Kit is a kit that will allow you to mount this SSD either in your notebook's 7mm or 9.5mm drive bay. Compatible with Windows and Mac OS systems, the drive connects via the SATA 6 Gb/s interface, while also being backwards compatible with SATA 3 Gb/s. This SSD will allow you to store and quickly access up to 240GB of your files, such as movies, photos, music, documents, and more. If you wish to use this SSD to directly replace a conventional notebook hard drive, this can be done using the included Acronis Cloning software for Windows.
With solid state drive technology, you benefit from load and access times for your files and programs that are faster than a conventional 7200 rpm hard disk drive. The drive offers sequential read and write times of 450 MB/s, as well as random 4K reads up to 85,000 IOPS, and random 4K writes up to 43,000 IOPS (Input/Output Operations per Second).
Included in this notebook upgrade kit are a 7mm to 9.5mm Adapter, a 2.5" USB Enclosure, Acronis Hard Drive Cloning Software for Windows, and an installation video.
