The JOBO GIGA Vu extreme Stand-Alone Data Storage Unit is the ultimate multi-media, photo copier and image viewing system. This versatile device allows users to transfer and store data from most memory card types, and can act as an intermediate storage device for photos, video clips and music files. Furthermore, it is equipped with a high quality, high resolution 3.7" Color LCD screen, and uses state-of-the-art technology to provide easy viewing of images and video clips - even outdoors, and allows for adjustment of brightness and saturation settings for the ultimate in viewer comfort.
The unit is equipped with a built-in memory card slot for CompactFlash Cards, plus it includes a Secure Digital (SD/SDHC) adapter to provide compatibility with most digital camera systems (all other memory card types can be read with an appropriate card adapter). The unit is also very easy to operate with a 4-way joystick controller for navigating and selecting menu options plus 5 softkeys, which vary function depending on the actual menu on the screen with corresponding function labels displayed on the screen for each softkey.
The USB Interface of the GIGA Vu extreme provides high speed data transfer to a PC or to another storage device at a rate of 20MB/second, and also provides PictBridge direct Printing functions so users can print to a PictBridge compatible printer without the need for a computer and has OTG USB connection capability that allows users to transfer files on-the-go directly between the GIGA Vu extreme and other USB devices. The unit also has analog and digital video output for displaying images, video clips and formatted side shows on a TV or other large display for easy group viewing.

Compatible with photoGPS
The GIGA Vu extreme is capable of direct interaction with JOBO's photoGPS unit. Data from a digital camera's memory card can be stored together with the data from the optional photoGPS device for file-based matching of data that simplifies the process of combining pictures and GPS data on the PC at home.
Analog & Digital Video Output
Not only can you view your images on the large LCD display, you can also view your pictures or develop a slide show with music and image transitions with the GIGA Vu extreme and present it on any display screen. It offers analog TV-out for showing and controlling pictures directly on a television, and the Digital Video-out feature allows the unit to be connected to an LCD display, plasma TV or PC monitor. USB 2.0 Interface
The high-speed USB 2.0 GIGA Vu extreme offers many special photo applications including a super fast data transfer speed of 20MB/second. This means you can download up to 25 GB of photos or data with a single battery charge. Also, the GIGA Vu offers a unique OTG USB connection feature that allows you to transfer files on-the-go directly between the GIGA Vu extreme and other USB devices (i.e. digital camera, camcorder, MP3-Player, card reader, etc.). You can even transfer data easily to another USB 2.0 hard disk for "extra" backup. It will also support a WiFi enabled CompactFlash card (optional).
PictBridge Support
The GIGA Vu extreme is PictBridge compatible, so you can print pictures directly from the device to any compatible PictBridge enabled printer without a computer.
