Purchase the medium size but out of stock. They send me the big one but I need to top up RM20 plus. The leg of this is not as flexible as it is.

I am looking for a travel 'tripod' and chose to buy this one. I looked up the original Gorillapod and it costs the world.. over RM 300. Today I took it to the top of a building and used it. I am preparing for a trip soon. I screwed on my Lumix GH3 and placed it on a ledge.. Alas.. the leg that was bearing the most weight slid out on the smooth aluminum ledge. I did considerable amount of bending and managed to stabilise it. I have a smaller similar Gorillapod copy that I used on my point and shoot and that one seemed to work a bit better than this one. I am not returning this product as I think I can still use it. I maybe tempted to bring along my flimsy and lousy cheap tripod on the trip seeing how this perform. On a scale of 1 being least satisfied and 10 the most.. I rate this at 3.
