The vertical arm/rail of the DJI RS 3 (Not RS 3 Pro) Gimbal Stabilizer is short and does not extend far below the horizontal mount for the camera. That will make the setup unbalanced and top heavy. We cannot recommend this vertical camera mount for RS 3.

The DJI R Vertical Mount provides a more robust portrait mounting solution for extended vertical shoots. Although the RS 2 already supports portrait mode with its standard mounting plate, the vertical mount replaces the existing camera plate to deliver a more reliable solution for longer shoots.
