Megumi SPM 2025 Results – the Day to Remember!

An important date, 24th April 2025, Thursday. The day which SPM results will be announced officially in Malaysia. The day that we all have been waiting for, after all the hard work and effort Megumi has poured in for her SPM examinations.

At 9.45am, I went home from work to check the results online with Megumi. Results will be announced at 10am sharp, online, at official SPM website.

Sharp at 10am, Megumi keyed in her IC and exam-nee number, the results POP UP!

While I was still looking at the results, immediately she went out from the room and started crying. She was disappointed, 5A+ and 5A. I was still trying to put together my thought of what happening.

My wife and I are happy with the results and proud of her, though we do know that she expected more A+, but I think the results are the best we can receive already. We tried to comfort her, and it took a while for her to accept the results.

We went to her school, Seri Omega, in the afternoon to get the official SPM results slip. She met up with her good friend there.

In the evening, we celebrate the day with her cousin, my niece, in JB Hao Di Lao, restaurant.

I thank God for the grace, and results, and mercy.

I thank Seri Omega for giving her a good study environment to achieve all As in her SPM. When Megumi transferred from a government school to Seri Omega in her Form 4, principal Datuk Ooi Chong Beng from Seri Omega is the one that trusted her and put her into the first class. Megumi wanted to go into 2nd or 3rd class that time, but Datuk believes in her that gave her the chance to compete with others and having a good primary school friend in the first class. I also feel grateful to Megumi’s mandarin teacher for teaching and encouraging her to take up the challenge of Mandarin paper in her SPM, which she managed to score A, instead of dropping the subject.

God’s path for her is laid, beyond what we can foresee or understand. We just have to trust in HIM.
