A bad leak in my brake master, dot 4+ fluid damaged my car’s paint.

When driving the car, the brake is not working well. Have to press the pedal deep to get the brake working, and sometimes have to press let go press let go and press again to get it to stop. That’s because of the pressure leaking in the Master Cylinder.

Went to my mechanic and get it sorted. The copper tube that connect to the brake master was leaking. He cut the tube and rechaffer the head, then tighten it back. Viola! Leak stopped! The brake master showed half tank left, which was originally FULL before I drove it out in the morning. Imagine how much dot 4 fluid leaked and damaged my car’s paint. Heart pain…the paint was perfect before that.

Luckily the damage was minor and things get sorted within an hour. No need to get a new brake master replacement unit, which costs RM300-400.
