Changed Toyota Alphard Car Battery 2024

The last change of my Toyota Alphard car battery was on the 6th Sept 2022.

Almost exactly after 2 years, the batt died. Didn’t expect Bosch battery to last only 2 years. My previous experience is that it can reach 3 years+.

Anyhow, I tried charge the battery, and was able to start the car the next day.

Still, the car starting sound doesn’t give me confident. It is almost like choking. Drove it for another day, and I think it is time to change. Kinda silly driving it around knowing that the batt might die at anytime. Will be troublesome if can’t start it while outside.

Today, I went to my usual car battery shop to get the battery change. Bosch is RM360, while there are others available as well. Since this exact same Bosch only last me 2 years, so I decided to get another brand to try out. Tuflong 85D23L, made in Thailand. Said to be under Hitachi.

Paid RM360 for this battery, without trading in the old Bosch batt. Charged and keep the Bosch as spare or for my Jag.
