My Volvo P1800 Handbrake Jammed

The mechanic broke the handbrake level in the rear brake drum but didn’t inform me. After I took the car back home and driven it for a few days, suddenly the handbrake in my car became too loose and can be pulled to the max height.

Sometime is wrong for sure, but we suspect the cable broken. Later when opened up the rear right drum, the only we discovered that the handbrake plate has fallen out and grind against other parts inside the drum. This is really bad.

Have to order the parts from USA, quite disappointed with the mechanic this time.
