Volvo P1800 boot / trunk soundproofing?

I am not sure if this is really going to make any differences, but since it is not so expensive or difficult to DIY, so I decided to give it a try.

I did the upper and bottom panel at night, poor eye sight and dark, so didn’t do a perfect job.

The left and right I decided to leave it till the next morning. Much better this time with some experience from the top and bottom and with much better light for adjustment.

Looks good to me. Not sure effective or not though.
