Parts for Volvo P1800 1800S from ebay

Just bought two parts from ebay last night.

Volvo 1800 P1800 1800S P1800S 1800E 1800ES Turn Indicator Bases & Gaskets

This one is through auction. New set costs over US$50 for a single unit, and is not LUCAS brand from England. The reason I bought this is because when the BQ10 owner detached the front turn indicator cover from the light, I saw the metal inside have rusted badly. I only saw the left side, right side not sure but I assumed they are the same rusty condition.

By chance saw this in ebay auction yesterday. Starting price is US$39.99, bid by a buyer name 5***8 with over 10805 feedbacks. Means it is a heavy seller at ebay with such a high feedback score.

I overbid him at US$41 at around 9pm Malaysia time, then within minutes he overbid me US$46. It seems like he was keen in getting the item, so I set my bid to US$51.99 and went to bed. The auction ends at 1.30am Malaysia time, so I won’t be awaken to monitor it. That’s the reason why I set at above US$51, guessing that most won’t want to bid above the 50 boundary. It is fun to win an auction!

Reason of buying these screws is because the existing screws on the BQ10 car are bad. What an ugly sign with those damaged screws! Those I bought above via ebay are stainless steel, and comes with washer.

These are small low cost items, so I don’t mind buying before getting the car.
