Pandan Layer Birthday Cake for Lydia

Yesterday was my wife Lydia Wong birthday. She loves pandan layer cake, so I have to find one for her in the very last minute.Imaging having to find a cake for tomorrow at the night of 10pm…the only option is Facebook.

Thanks and found a lady selling homemade pandan layer cake. I messaged her at 10.15pm and she replied within a few minutes, but as expected, no cake available. However, after some discussions, Sharon Lee was so kind enough to say that she can try. Bare in mind that I am a total stranger to her and I haven’t even pay her a cent, and she has to purposely prepare all the ingredients and work for just one cake for me. Layer cake can’t be rushed because it requires 6-7 hours in fridge to get harden and keep in shape.

That’s the reason Sharon said it normally requires 3 days booking in advance. Good news on the next day, my cake is ready! Sharon delivered the cake earlier to my house, with no extra charge. Really grateful to her! Now the most important part, the cake is delicious!

My wife loves it! Even the icing is yummy with strawberry taste! Each of us has a huge portion…hahaa…If you love pandan layer cake, do contact Sharon, you won’t be disappointed. But…don’t rush last minute like me…
