After returning the Timberland hiking shoes for my wife, I have immediately ordered another pair for her. This time is the Salomon brand.

I was a bit worrying on the shoes size. The Timberland was size UK 6 previously (too big), and this Salomon is UK 5.5. I read from the internet saying the Salomon size is smaller, and one should always go half or one size up. Anyhow, my worry is gone. My wife tried it on her feet, and it is perfect! A bit loose with thin socks, but should be just fine with wool socks later.

I really like the colour I must say. It really is like RED WINE or Grape Wine colour. A bit on the reflective part, but is nice.

The seller used only a plastic wrap over the original box, so the box was damaged in the transit. No big deal but not a very caring seller. For a RM500 shoes, one would expect to receive a perfect box as gift / present. Anyhow, I am not keeping the box, so is OK for us.

The shoes is actually as per what in the picture and descriptions. The lace is thick and nice, and the shoes feel light. Padding is thick and comfy. Bottom is very nice pattern grip, should be firmed on soil or muddy / slippery surface.

I am really happy with the purchase at discounted price of RM459.71, including very pricey rubber cup that costs RM49. The reason for me to add the cup is because of the extra 10% discount from the seller when buying TWO Salomon items. The cup is the cheapest item I can find.
