DAY 1 was a free day, since we arrived early at 10am to the hotel, we can only checked into our room after 2.00pm, we my colleague and I decided to go for a walk to spent some time.

A nearby place would be Akihabara, the electrical town in Japan. It is around 15mins from where we stayed (Shibuya), 200yen train ticket.

The first meal I took in Japan, ramen! This one is rally huge, the image can’t really tell you the size precisely, look at the cup of water next to it. I was hungry, but yet I couldn’t finish it. Felt a bit guilty for not finishing the food, paiseh to the cook…850yen.

The busy city in Akihabara.

This is Akihabara station.

For those who like sushi, can try this one. Right outside Akihabara station. No, I didn’t go in.

Yodobashi Camera, the largest camera shop in the world! Though the name is Yodobashi Camera, they sell not just Camera but all sort of things, eg. Audio, TV, toys, books…etc.

All sorts of Japanese packaging food…

A mini market that I visited. Was looking for some food for my wife to be brought back home.

Sony A7r II, a RM12k camera, is there at your disposal. Test kaw kaw, test with different lenses, nobody is going to stop you from shooting, trying, testing it out. Since I am contemplating to change my Nikon D3s to this Sony camera, so I took some time playing with it. Don’t really have the excitement after trying it out…so I think I am keeping my Nikon D3s for a little bit longer for now…

My dinner…or tea time?

Another cup of fresh juice. Must drink enough vitamin C to keep the body healthy.

Yes, is fresh peach juice.

The hotel room of where I stayed. Small room but clean and comfortable. Shibuya Granbell Hotel, RM388.50 per night. Only 3 mins walk from Shibuya station. Very convenient I would say. Recommended.

(I book my reservation at Agoda, and breakfast was not included as told by Agoda, but during check in, the hotel still gave me breakfast voucher, which is good.)

A small little gift I bought for my daughter.

As the night was still young, so I decided to go to Sukiya restaurant right besides my hotel for some real dinner food. This is my frequent restaurant during my study year in Hiroshima, it is a franchise store so the taste is the same. Bring back good memory…

Yes, is raw egg and this is how you eat them. Mixed with your rice while the rice is still hot. It makes your meal ultra smooth…

After the dinner, I went and bought a bottle of coffee. Got attracted by the advertisement, so I bought one to try out. A little bit of roasted Coffee taste, with smooth and strong milk. Not the best that I have tried, but quite OK.
