Dell Monitor Replacement

Got my new Dell U3011 monitor replacement from Dell today. Quite efficient, next business day replacement.

No hassle, simple and fast replacement. Good from Dell.

The new replaced monitor is Nov 2012 manufactured (stated behind the monitor). Good. 🙂

The problem of my old monitor is that it shuts down from time to time by itself, even in the middle of me typing or using the computer. It is getting more frequent, so I decided to give Dell a call to settle it while it is still under the 3 years warranty term.

A note though, Dell service personal told me that the replacement monitor might have “refurbish” sticker on it. Not sure if some will get a refurbished or new unit for replacement, but I am glad mine is new.
