Chinese New Year 2009 in Miri 🙂
This is the first time Megumi came to Miri. I have not been back there, my home town, for 3 years+, since I went to Japan. Hmm…maybe not…I did went back during my sister’s wedding. Anyway, it is definitely Megumi’s first visit. 🙂
We went to my father’s house for Nien 30 dinner, which is a tradisional gathering of Chinese family.
My father in the middle (living room).
The cheong sam that Megumi wore was bought in Japan. I guess next year she can’t fit in anymore… 😛
Adorable Megumi…I should blow and frame this picture in my house when ready. 🙂
My grandmother on the left. She is nearly 80s, but still very healthy. God be with her all the time.
My elder sister in the middle, with her girl on the left and boy at the back. My wife, Lydia on the right.
Ground angle…
Megumi:”Don’t come so close…eee…err….”. My elder sister, Adeline Lisa.
My father and Megumi. She likes like to play handphone (call mobile phone in Japan).
Play play…with the “mobile” phone…
Family photo. In the center is my sister’s husband youngest sister.
Rachel, My sister (Adeline) and Aphenny. They both are my sister’s daughter, but totally different character.
Rachel is very cute…but can be naughty sometimes.
My wife and Megumi. The carpet is soft and nice to lay down.

Lydia & Megumi.
This is taken at one of my sister’s friend house. We went there the 3rd day to visit/pai nian in Chinese. During Chinese New Year, you are welcome to visit your friends and relatives, a traditional culture. Nowadays, many modern families prefer to go oversea during Chinese New Year to get rid of the “hassle”… 😛
Leaving airport from Miri to Kuala Lumpur…the boy in front is Joshua, my sister’s son. My mother on the back right.
I wish i can be there too. Lots of laughter and fun!
Yr Photos are just great, really family as it should be
