Chinese New Year is around the corner…in Malaysia, I am sure people (Chinese) are busy doing shopping now. This coming weekend should very crowded in shopping malls.
My wife told me I should change and update ShaShinKi logo to reflect CNY now…Christmas has long gone. Yeah…after server back online, I did the logo design two days ago and here’s the result, two versions:
Front page (large one with 700px width):
Shop (smaller one with 500px width):
For the shop version, I can’t use the long word of “FU” (which means prosperous in Chinese) because it will make the header too big, taking up too much space and not so nice. So I shrink the word. Besides that, do you notice any other difference? Yes…there is…look carefully… 😀
No animation type this round as I find it a bit distracting and not so professional look. 😛
Happy Chinese New Year to all my friends and family! 🙂
I think the first one is nicer. The word ‘fu’ is longer.
i agreed with Daisy. Fu is come from the Heavenly Father from upper to earth. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
nice fu. u said animated gif is distracting and not so professional look. but u have been using animated gif for your logo all the while. does that mean you are not professional all these while?
Hi DIJON,
If you read my post again “No animation type this round as I find it a bit distracting and not so professional look.”
I don’t use animation THIS ROUND, I did not say all animated GIF is unprofessional.
I am not a professional in art design, but I would love to try out and doing the design myself rather than hire other people. Learning little by little day by day. 🙂
