The Velbon GEO N640 is a lightweight but sturdy 4-section carbon fibre tripod featuring a new spiral etched surface which provides smooth and fast extension, and twist nut leg-locks. An inbuilt scale shows 2.5cm and 5cm intervals making accurate set - up easy. And 2 way adjustable leg tips provide a metal spike or rubber feet option. It features a newly-designed release level with safety lock for quick and easy centre column height adjustment. The 2 section centre column can be detached to enable an extra-low picture taking angle as used in macro photography. The multi-use pochette slips over the end of the tripod legs to allow comfortable shoulder carrying and also doubles as a stone bag for added tipod stability in windy conditions.
