Think Tank Photo Glass Taxi Backpack

The Think Tank Photo Glass Taxi is a modular convertible backpack/ shoulder bag that will hold large lenses or a camera system. Holds up to a 500 f4 lens, 300 f2.8 lens with SLR attached, or SLR with 70-200 attached with hood in position.

Part of the Think Tank Photo modular system
The Think Tank Photo modular system allows you to pick and choose exactly what items you need. Each piece of camera equipment is fitted into its own bag. When leaving for a shoot, select and carry only what items you need.

Can be used as a shoulder bag
The Glass Taxi is so small, few people will realize that it will hold up to a 500 f4 lens. It comes with the Curved Comfort shoulder strap, allowing it to be carried as a shoulder bag.

Can be used as a backpack
The Glass Taxi also has mid-weight shoulder straps for when you want to carry it as a backpack. While wearing the backpack, its small “look” disguises its function as a photo backpack.

Holds up to a 500mm f4 lens
The Think Tank Photo Glass Taxi will hold a 500 f4 lens. The zipper sliders are “self locking” to prevent the front flap from opening accidentally, as well as a mesh pocket on the inside flap.

Foam Collar for large glass
There is a Foam Collar that attaches via hook and loop to the back of the case that can be securely attached to a large lens. This secures the lens in the case and prevents it from wobbling back and forth.

Foam Ring for smaller hoods
The Foam Ring in the bottom is for lenses with smaller hoods, such as a 300 2.8. This extra foam pad, which is removable, securely positions the lens in the bottom of the bag.

Holds pro size SLR
This is one of the only backpacks that will hold a pro-size SLR with a 70-200 attached with a lens hood in position, as well as providing additional room for three other lenses.

Holds a 300 mm f2.8 with SLR
The Glass Taxi can also hold some lenses like a 300 2.8 with a pro-size SLR attached. It is best to use both the Foam Collar and the Foam Ring to secure it in position.

Pro Speed Belt can be attached
The Pro Speed belt can be attached to the Glass Taxi by putting it under the hook and loop flap on the bottom of the bag. Modulus components can be attached to the belt during use.

Pro Speed Belt can removed
This is a really cool feature. While wearing the backpack and the belt, the backpack can be removed by disconnecting the hook and loop flap and pulling up on the backpack, leaving your belt and Modulus components on your waist.

Front rail can hold Modulus components
On the front of the Glass Taxi is a “rail” that allows attachment of Modulus components, such as the Chimp Cage, that will hold an SLR or other items.

Monopod attachment
Stretch pockets on both sides allow for items such as a monopod to be attached to the side of the bag. Straps are included that will allow you to do this.

Tripod attachment
The Glass Taxi will also hold medium-sized tripods, such as a carbon fiber. Straps and instructions are included.

Tuck away shoulder harness
The shoulder straps can be disconnected from the lower D rings and tucked behind the back pad. This is useful when it is being used as a shoulder bag.

Raincover included
A seam-sealed raincover is included that has a pop-out section that will go over Modulus component that is attached to the front rail.

Business card holder
The very important business card holder is located under the padded handle for easy identification. It can also be used to carry extra business cards.

Inside mesh pocket
The inside mesh pocket can be used for small accessories, such as the Think Tank Photo Pixel Pocket Rocket, lens caps, lens cloth, and more.
