The HDR-CX700's progressive HD video provides rich, detailed, and stunning images that hold up even on a giant HDTV. It also allows recording in 25p, which gives your video a more film-like look--one that's enhanced further by the inclusion of CinemaTone presets. Shooting controls are a major hallmark of this cam, from manual control of exposure to expanded focus, zebra, and peaking modes. Other pro-like features include microphone and headphone connections, plus an electronic viewfinder for more precise, distraction-free shooting.
