Samyang T3.1 14mm ED AS IF UMC MKII was developed based on the optical construction of the Samyang 14mm f2.8 ED AS IF UMC lens, while its aesthetics refers to the latest Samyang products. Light transmission ratio corresponds to T3.1 t-stop. Another characteristic features of the device include the follow-focus gearing and smoothly adjustable aperture ring. Such alterations allow for extremely precise and quiet modification of focus and depth of field whilst filming.
This super wide-angle lens was created for cameras with either full-frame or APR-C sensor. Its optical construction is based on 14 elements arranged in 10 optical groups. The device has been fitted with one ED lens and two aspherical elements (hybrid and standard). All lenses are covered with state-of-the-art anti-reflective UMC (Ultra- Ultra Multi Coated) layers. Such optics combined with the highest quality materials ensure ideal image quality.
