The Ricoh CX5 Digital Camera is more than a point-and-shoot, it's a feature-packed companion, ready to turn your photo-excursions into one creative moment after another. The CX5 features a 10Mp back-illuminated CMOS sensor, which aside from providing high-res images, gives you great photos in low-light settings. In addition to capturing photos, the CX5 also takes 1280 x 720 HD video.

No matter which you decide to capture, photo or video, the CX5 has a 3.0" LCD for composition and review of all your files. This generous display has a number of functions, including a histogram, a display of the day's shots, and an 81 image grid. Other basic, or expected, features of the camera include image stabilization for a reduction in blur, and 10.7x optical zoom. When it comes to storage, the CX5 stores its files to SD/SDHC memory cards.
