The Panasonic SDR-H280E Hybrid 30GB HDD/Flash Memory 'PAL' Camcorder provides you with all the recording space you'll need on the internal hard disc drive and the optional SD card flash memory. With the 30GB HDD you'll have up to 27 hours of recording space with which to capture all of life's moments, planned or spontaneous, without having to fumble around for that extra tape right at the key moment. In addition, the 1/6" 3CCD image sensor and Leica Dicomar Lens ensure that each and every one of those moments will be captured with true-to-life, beautiful color and clarity.

The SDR-H280E also boasts Optical Image Stabilization (O.I.S.) as a coverall against the inevitable bump or shaky hand. And, the 2.7" wide screen LCD gives you a generous amount of space on which to compose or playback your masterpiece.

Forget the days of lugging around extra tapes and DVDs. Record up to 27 hours of video with the 30GB hard disc drive on the SDR-H280. And, when you need extra room you can record onto an SD card (sold separately).
3CCD Image Sensor
This superior 1/6" 3CCD Image sensor means that instead of one sensor, there are three, capturing light by splitting it into each of the three primary colors (red, green and blue). This special process ensures natural, vivid images each and every time you record.
Leica Dicomar Lens
The Leica name ensures quality. Panasonic and Leica have teamed up to bring you the Leica Dicomar Lens. This lens boasts 12 lens elements in 8 groups with low-dispersion optical glass, meaning that your video will have less glare and blurring. In addition, a multi-coating process, applied to all 14 lens elements ensures, clean, crisp and flare-free images.
Optical Image Stabilization
Focus on moving subjects or just guard against the inevitable bump or shaky hand when you're recording. Optical Image Stabilization (O.I.S.) will prevent or minimize the blurriness common with hand-held video recording.
