The Nissin Di866 Mark II Flash For Nikon DSLRs, with a Guide Number of 198 (ISO 100 in feet at 105mm), provides photographers with the power needed to light up a wide variety of shooting situations. It provides an easy-to-read, two-way color display which helps ensure intuitive operations. The Mark II has been upgraded from the previous model, with a re-designed zoom head that has a new transmission motor that significantly reduces the operating noise to a volume level of 70dB or less, a new metal foot for the hot-shoe mount, and a flash tube with increased heat tolerance. The fill-in subflash power ratio range has been increased, now offering a range from 1/1 to 1/128, and the high performance wireless sensors now cover the distance of 82' (25 meters).
The Mark II also has auto-rotation so it stays upright even when turned for vertical framing. It features the "MY TTL" mode for adjustable default level, and a manual motor zoom of 24-105mm. It is designed with clip-on capabilities, built-in wide-angle diffuser and catch-light reflector for added versatility. It's powered by four (4) LR6 rechargeable batteries, (Lithium, NiMH or Oxiride--not included), and when it is operated with a Nissin Power Pack Pro 300 (not included), users have 300 full-power flashes. It boasts a recycling time of 0.1-5.5 seconds. Compatible with i-TTL/i-TTL-BL.

Improvements on an already intelligent charger

- Ramp-up
- Rapid Charging

- Maintenance Charging
The Ramp-up jolts the batteries if needed to revive old batteries. This jolting feature is a series of carefully timed high current pulses that can activate both new and inactive batteries.
The MH-C204W is designed with an intermediate, medium current, top-off charge so that the battery will retain most of its charge.
The Maintenance Charging feature is an extremely low current pulse charging that gives the batteries a brief pulse charge periodically to ensure the batteries are charged but not overcharged.
Battery Conditioning Feature: Bring dead batteries back to life!
Like a well conditioned athlete, batteries also need to be conditioned from time to time so that it can produce maximum performance in all of your equipment. Batteries that were ready for the recycle bin may be brought back to life using the conditioning feature. The conditioning feature is also an useful tool at reviving poorly performing batteries.
