Leica Elmarit-M 28mm f/2.8 ASPH is new high-speed lens that is the most compact of Leica M lenses. By using an aspherical element it was possible to attain top imaging performance with a weight of only 180 grams. The most compact of M lens. The aspherical lens ensures high performance. This lens is practically free of distortion for close up shots of 27.6 (0.7m) and only slightly projects in the viewfinder of the M-Camera. When used on the M8 this lens portrays the picture of a 35mm lens.
