Made of black anodized aluminium the adaptor permits user to use M42 x 1 MM universal screw mount lenses (from Zeiss, Pentax, Praktica, Mamiya and Zenit) and macro accessories on NIKON camera (35mm and DSLRs). Since the adaptor does not have electronic communication between the lens and camera, auto focus is not available. User should control lens aperture and focus manually.
This adaptor does not focus to infinity.
