Beware when buying gold…916 means 91.6% pure

916 gold should have at least 91.6% of gold content inside, but some shops tend to mix it with other material and have less than 91.6% gold content.
One of the example as in the news below is Baalaji Jewellers in Little India in Singapore.

Singapore did a good job by doing random checking and publish the name of the shop to the public. In Malaysia, we never know…and never will know…
