Megumi’s morning meal

Everyday, my wife will prepare some porridge for Megumi the night before, and cook the porridge in a glass bowl together with the rice for our next day meal. It is not an easy job, as my wife will first cook some soup with carrots and small fishes (ikan bilis) in the soup, just to get some extra nutrition for the porridge that she prepared for Megumi.

The work is a lot…but the porridge is only very small bowl, but with lots of love from mother.

Feeding time with morning sunlight shinning through the windows…

Saw the Hello Kitty plastic thingy? Used to use just cloth, but Lydia said very difficult to clean, so we went to Diamond City, Babies “R” Us to buy the thingy above.

Megumi is enjoying her meal for sure…

So delicious…wah..lerr…eh…

Let’s have another BIG BITE! “ARMMmmm!”

Megumi:”enough shooting lah…don’t record all my eating ugly shots…”

Will record another round of eating again in future…

made in Japan…BCG injection mark

Those newborn baby in Japan, or even if not born in Japan, there is BCG injection in October for all newborn babies.

In Malaysia, BCG injection was given on the same birthdate, same as Taiwan. However, in Japan they have a fixed date for BCG injection carried out by the city office. So, some babies can be 1 month old, some can be 3 months old…different age. There are few different sessions of BCG injection a year, ours was in Oct for Megumi. City office will send a letter to inform you the date to go for injection in the city office health care center nearby.

Baby Shower…

Yesterday we have a “baby shower” gathering at our English Bible cell group. It was really a big surprise, and this is the first time I heard about “baby shower”. Our baby received a lot of presents, thank you very much brothers and sisters!

The shower is not just for us, but also another couples in our cell group, Matt and Misty, who are ministering in Hiroshima City.
