Dearest love and mama,
11th May 2008…
Today is a special day…
It is the mother’s day…the first mother’s day for my wife!
Today is a special day…
It is the birthday of my wife!
In this very special day…I do not know what to gift to my wife…so I spent some time to tell the world about this special day…
Thank you dear for every day and everything…may God bless our family and marriage, guide us through His way, protect us from all temptations, lead us onto His path and be with us all the time. May everything we do to glorify our Heavenly Father’s name. May God bless and protect Megumi, lead her to know and accept Jesus. In Jesus name I prayed, Amen!
Love,
King and Megumi

My wife “unwrapping” the Valentine cake from the box…
Can see the new Valentine Cup already in use…with lemon tea inside.
Taste delicious, though not cheap (in Malaysia standard) but definitely worth every cent for the smile on Lydia’s face.
Yummy! ![]()

In Chinese tradition, the day before Chinese New Year is a very important reunion for family members. Today, here in Japan my wife, Megumi and I have a good reunion here in our little home. Last year I was alone in Japan…
Chinese New Year 2008 - nien 30 on 6th Feb 2008.
My wife wake up early in the morning to prepare the food - big fest - for our little family.
Here’s some of the dishes…no, don’t ask me how to prepare…maybe Lydia can add that later…
While I was busy taking photos…my wife said…not yet lah…still got one…
(the soup in the middle…5 dishes one soup!)
Not forgetting my wife’s favorite…Coca-Cola…in “romantic” glass…
Finally…before we start enjoy our food (must pray and thank to God)…family photo first…
Notice our little ShaShinKi.com very own angpow? Megumi is hungry for it!
Happy Chinese New Year to all!

This is the first heavy snow in winter 2007/2008. Not the first snow, but the first heavy snow.
Was waiting and hoping to have this kind of heavy snow…glad that finally able to see and experience it “again”. Yes, in winter 2005/2006, there is an even heavier snow and it was right before Christmas.
Winter 2006/2007 was a warm one. No heavy snow and melt right after it snowed.
The heavy snow happened on Sunday morning (20th Jan 2008). Megumi, Lydia and I still drive to church, as the snow isn’t very strong yet and the road was still not frozen. During the Sunday service, the snow continue. After church, around 12noon, the snow became even heavier.
Right after Sunday service, youngs and olds all starts the snow fight!

Have you tasted Oyster baked live before? Yes, raw oyster still on the shell BB. Add nothing (some like lemon).
Yeah, often seen on TV…we bought two pieces for JPY420 yen, finally got the chance to try it ourselves (Lydia and Lydia…for the two pieces. Nah…I don’t really like raw food :P).
You? You can imagine the taste by studying the photos below…enjoy!

Or should I say…Lioness?
My wife went to buy some shirts for Megumi yesterday. Since it is winter time now, we need to get some thick clothes for Megumi to keep her warm.

Everyday, my wife will prepare some porridge for Megumi the night before, and cook the porridge in a glass bowl together with the rice for our next day meal. It is not an easy job, as my wife will first cook some soup with carrots and small fishes (ikan bilis) in the soup, just to get some extra nutrition for the porridge that she prepared for Megumi.
The work is a lot…but the porridge is only very small bowl, but with lots of love from mother.
Feeding time with morning sunlight shinning through the windows…
Saw the Hello Kitty plastic thingy? Used to use just cloth, but Lydia said very difficult to clean, so we went to Diamond City, Babies “R” Us to buy the thingy above.
Megumi is enjoying her meal for sure…
So delicious…wah..lerr…eh…
Let’s have another BIG BITE! “ARMMmmm!”
Megumi:”enough shooting lah…don’t record all my eating ugly shots…”
Will record another round of eating again in future… ![]()

Our main purpose to Tokyo in November 2007, to renew Foong’s passport and to make Megumi’s birth certificates and passport.
Here’s some photos of the embassy:
Front view of the building (the building is grey in colour, roof top is green):
Can see Megumi is so tired…sleeping already…
The is the view of the counter where we do our passport and birth certificate documents:
We managed to get both passports (Lydia’s and Megumi’s) and Megumi’s birth certificate within the same day. Thanks to the staffs working there, they are definitely helpful. ![]()

Today (Sunday - 11 November 2007) we have a Children Blessing Service in our church. All children of Primary 6 and below are going on stage to get blessed/prayer by the pastor. This is done after the message preaching by our Pastor with Bible verses below:
Mark 10:13-16 (King James Version)
10:13 And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and his disciples rebuked those that brought them.
10:14 But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
10:15 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.
10:16 And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them.
Here’s some photos of Megumi and Mum (Lydia) and Pastor Kato to share:
