Today is Easter…23rd March 2008…

Easter is to remember the rise of Jesus Christ from death, he sacrifices for us on the cross, died for 3 days and risen from death on the 3rd day. Last Friday is called Good Friday, to remember how Jesus Christ being crucified on the cross for us, and today is called Easter to remember He is the son of God that has risen from death!

A peaceful day…and memorial day…a day where love is shown onto all mankind…a day that shows the power of God that is not restricted by death…a day that gives us hope for eternal life!

Let us all remember this day…remember how Jesus Christ has sacrificed for us and saved us from all sins.

Thank you, God…thank you Father…thank you Jesus. Amen.

In traditional Chinese culture, we eat “shou mian”, drumstick and red egg during birthday. :) Yes, my wife took the trouble to colour the eggs to red.

Then in the evening, my wife baked a birthday cake for me… :D

Christmas eve…2007…

In a few minutes time…it will be Christmas day!

Christmas is not a celebration for santa clause, not a celebration of receiving presents, not a celebration of holiday…Christmas is a remembrance of the birthday of Jesus Christ, son of God who came to earth 2000 years ago to complete the plan of God.

Christ was born, as promised by God to the Israel people. Not just Israel people, but also a savior was born for all the people who believe in God.

Christ was born, not in the glorious place, no in palace, not in the softest bed.

Christ was born, in a manger. Closest to man, to earth, to the poorest, to those who need him most.

Christ was born, not for the saints, not for the good man, not for the rich, not for the rulers, but for those who admit sinners.

Christ was born, from heaven to earth, from the highest to the lowest, from the richest to the poorest.

Christ was born, a savior was born, a king was born, God came in fresh on earth.

Christ was born, for you, for me, for us.

Does Christmas means anything other than holiday to you? You can make Christmas a meaningful day…if you have Christ in you. Having Christ be your Savior, your Lord, your King, your God. Make every Christmas a celebration of Christ Jesus, his birthday for you, not for me or others, but you.

Merry Christmas,

Christ was born!

Children Blessing Service - Megumi Church (Japan)

Today (Sunday - 11 November 2007) we have a Children Blessing Service in our church. All children of Primary 6 and below are going on stage to get blessed/prayer by the pastor. This is done after the message preaching by our Pastor with Bible verses below:

Mark 10:13-16 (King James Version)

10:13 And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and his disciples rebuked those that brought them.
10:14 But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
10:15 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.
10:16 And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them.

Here’s some photos of Megumi and Mum (Lydia) and Pastor Kato to share:

Sarung…bed…addicted…Going Tokyo!

Planning to go Tokyo on Monday (5th November 2007) to do passport and birth certificates for Megumi, renew passport for Foong.

We plan to drive there…it is going to be a long journey…around 850km far…roughly 11 hours drive. Toll will cost around JPY16,500 one way. Still cheaper than air ticket which cost over JPY20,000 one way per person.

We decided to drive so that the journey can be more flexible. Since we have a nice car now (Toyota Wish) and with Navigator, so finding the way is not a problem. Praise the Lord!

Now…one thing that we must bring in order to make our lives easier…

Yeah…the sarung swing. Megumi now must use sarung in order to go to sleep. She will cry for sarung when she is tired. I can’t imagine for the days without sarung in Tokyo…we just can’t take the chance. If she can’t sleep without it…then there is no way for us to find one for her…so must dissemble and bring to Tokyo with us. Thank God our car is big enough for those things, but taking it to the hotel might have some headache… :P

May God bless us and protect us all the way, in Jesus name I prayed. Amen.

Kaze…flu…cold…

It is now getting cold in Saijyo, Hiroshima, Japan. My wife and I were having very heavy/bad flu on Sunday. We took a good rest and was getting better on Monday. I took another day off on Monday and resting more at home. I am feeling 99% back to normal now.

However, my wife is getting bad flu again today. She has work hard in taking care of Megumi while letting me get all the rest. We cleaned the house today and changed all the blankets…etc., tired and now the flu from bad to worse.

I hope she will get well soon. May God bless and protect my wife. May God also protect Megumi from all these disease and grow healthily. May God cleans our sins and protects us from all evil temptations.

In Jesus name I prayed. Amen.

BCG Vacine Injection

Posted on October 4th, 2007 by KhoKing.

Megumi went for BCG Vacine injection yesterday. In Japan, their BCG injection “symbol” is very unique. There are MANY holes. Not just one…but many! I did not count…but I think is around 9 x 2 holes. Yes, it is like stamping. Two stamps with many needles (9 each I think). Doctor put “something” on the needles and then PRESS HARD onto Megumi’s left hand.

Very painful for sure, she was crying hard with tears wet all over her face… :’(

Here’s the photo of Day 1…

It is Easter today! Jesus is alive! He died on the cross but resurrected from death and is alive today!
