22 聖 靈 所 結 的 果 子 ， 就 是 仁 愛 、 喜 樂 、 和 平 、 忍 耐 、 恩 慈 、 良 善 、 信 實 、
23 溫 柔 、 節 制 。 這 樣 的 事 沒 有 律 法 禁 止 。

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

Last week listen to Rev Wan sermons, set me thinking. Below are not all from Rev Wan, so I stand to be corrected.

果子在英文是Fruit, 单数， 不是Fruits。

圣灵只结了一个果子，但果子里可比喻成有九种味道： 仁愛、喜樂、和平、忍耐、恩慈、良善、信實、溫柔和節制。

当圣灵住在我们里面时，我们就应当结出圣灵的果子。每颗果子味道或有轻重不一，但九种为到肯定在里面，因果子只有一种。有些人也许仁爱多些，有些人也许节制多些，但必须肯定及相信有这九种“味道”在其中，不可说只结了这些而没结了那些，中了撒旦的谎言。

这 事 谁 肯 依 从 你 们 呢 ？ 上 阵 的 得 多 少 ， 看 守 器 具 的 也 得 多 少 。 应 当 大 家 平 分 。大 卫 定 此 为 以 色 列 的 律 例 典 章 ， 从 那 日 直 到 今 日 。

Today (Sunday – 11 November 2007) we have a Children Blessing Service in our church. All children of Primary 6 and below are going on stage to get blessed/prayer by the pastor. This is done after the message preaching by our Pastor with Bible verses below:

10:13 And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and his disciples rebuked those that brought them.
10:14 But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.

今天,我和诺诺”一起”读 箴言6章1~19节 . 当中有诺诺她爸爸喜爱的经文. 特别是看到懒惰人时,她爸爸就会提起这段经文:

懒 惰 人 哪 ， 你 去 察 看 蚂 蚁 的 动 作 ， 就 可 得 智 慧 。(6:6)

Go to the ant, you hater of work; give thought to her ways and be wise:

懒 惰 人 哪 ， 你 要 睡 到 几 时呢 ？ 你 何 时 睡 醒 呢 ？再 睡 片 时， 打 盹片 时 ， 抱 着 手 躺 卧 片 时 ，你 的 贫 穷 就 必 如 强 盗 速来 ， 你 的 缺 乏 仿 佛 拿 兵 器 的 人来 到。(10~11).

Update (KhoKing) :

I took another shot of Megumi with the Bible few days ago:

I started to read The Bible Scriptures together with Megumi everyday since last week.

Yesterday, we have read the Proverbs 3: 1~10. I loved this Words especially the verses no 5~7, which becomes my guidance to teach Megumi one day when she starts understand more things. And also my prayers to God that our family will fear the Lord in all things we do. Here the Scriptures say:

” Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;

in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make y our paths straight,

Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. ”

I also pray to Lord that one day, Megumi could share her findings after reading the Bible. Now, seems like she only can “look look and see see” the Bible.

Yet, still I was moved by her “serious face”, how about you?

Megumi:” Have you read the Bible today?”

Yesterday we have a “baby shower” gathering at our English Bible cell group. It was really a big surprise, and this is the first time I heard about “baby shower”. Our baby received a lot of presents, thank you very much brothers and sisters!

The shower is not just for us, but also another couples in our cell group, Matt and Misty, who are ministering in Hiroshima City.
