Peugeot RCZ Facelift

Posted by KhoKing on Tuesday Feb 28, 2012 Under Rojak

Some photoshop guru managed to get a facelift to the Peugeot RCZ, which I think is AWESOME!

While I like every bit the rear part of RCZ, I really don’t like its front part. It is just way too ordinary for a car like that. You can’t tell if it is a RCZ or 308 from the front, until your eyesight move to the middle double bubble roof design of the car and get a peak at the rear part of the car, that’s where the modern sporty looks kick in.

In the facelift above, while I don’t really like the LED light design at the side, but the MOUTH outlined by the silver / white colour is just AWESOME! Give a much fierce look to the car!

Let’s compare the original design of RCZ below…

Which one do you prefer?

There is an animated GIF file with before and after facelift…

You can see that not only the bumper is changed, but the Headlight as well. Hmm…

I did mentioned that the original RCZ design is very much like the 308 design…and I just found out that the facelift picture above is actually a photoshop from a 308 facelift!

Hmm…it seems like RCZ is going to be like 308 again if they both uses the same facelift design…hmm…nevermind…I think RCZ still looks nicer with that facelift…better than the old original…

Seeing Peugeot RCZ in Person

Posted by KhoKing on Saturday Feb 25, 2012 Under Rojak

Went a Nasim (Peugeot Distributor in Malaysia) showroom yesterday to see the RCZ in person.

Made a phone called, confirming that they have RCZ in their showroom.

Arrived there with my wife, and I am surprised to see both Pearl White and Haria Grey in their showroom. It is NOT in stock, as they two cars were already sold, ordered from KL to customers in JB.

Not that I am going to buy one piece on the spot, so it doesn’t matter. I only want to check out those cars in person…so that I can have more elements to dream on later. :D

In Malaysia, Nasim only import two colours: Pearl White and Haria Grey. (You can have 8 different colours in UK, and that’s haven’t take into account the limited Asphalt version.)

Of course, I think it is the right choice by Nasim to get the Pearl White and Haria Grey (or Charcoal) Colour into Malaysia. These two should be the most sort after colour.

If you checked Peugeot UK website, you will see that Pearl White is actually a more expensive model, similar to any other car makers that offer Pear White paint, normally you will have to fork out RM500-RM1000 extra for luxurious colour. In Malaysia, both colours are selling at the same price.

Dark colour cars do look more macho, fierce, and handsome…but that’s not my taste. You will have to keep your dark colour dark polished all the time, even after single wash, you will notice spider web scratches on the surfaces already. It is so hard to maintained a dark colour car. The one in the showroom, I can actually see some polish wax leftover at the edges of the car. It should have been polished recently, before deliver to the customer. Who will want to see his / her brand new card with spider web scratches?! :D

Dark does look good from far though…

Checking out the Pear White version, stunning! It shines, glows, and has a very mild milky / yellowish colour on the paint. I would say is very nice and elegant look, even at close up.

This is the actual Pearl White version offered in Malaysia…with the “UGLY” dark colour rims…

In comparison…see how good the car looks with silver rim?!

The rims have such a beautiful design, but when in black, you CAN’T SEE IT AT ALL!!!

Nasim does not allow customer to customize their RCZ like what UK have. You only have the following options basically:

1. Colour: Pearl White or Haria Grey

Nasim by default pair the Pearl White with dark interior leather, while the Haria Grey with light grey interior leather.

Pearl White comes with 19” ‘Sortilege’ alloy wheels – onyx black, while Haria Grey comes with 19” ‘Sortilege’ alloy wheels – midnight silver.

NO, you can’t change any of the above, your only option is White or Grey body paint. :(

While I love the Pear White in every bit…including the dark leather, but I just hate the dark rim. What a pity! You spend so much money yet you can’t choose the colour of rim that you like! (Hahaa…as if I already bought…)

Black looks in photos (after newly polished)…

2. Manual (200HP) or Auto (156HP)

Manual is RM5000 more expensive, but if you can afford a RM220k car, RM5k should not be of a consideration.

At Nasim website, it didn’t mention if Cruise Control is included or not, so I checked out both car units, and yes both have Cruise Control there. It is good to have, especially when driving on Highway.

GPS Navigation? Sadly, it is not included in Malaysia’s RCZ. Nasim opt for the cheaper viewer instead. In UK, this costs 1,225.00 pound (RM6k) before VAT. Too bad not in Malaysia’s RCZ.

The Experience…

Sitting inside the RCZ, you will actually notice that the view is quite limited when are you in the driver seat. The car is quite low center of gravity, but not extremely low. The problem is the windscreen. I actually feel quite squishy on the windscreen, not as wide as my other normal cars (Wish, …etc.). The rear view mirror is actually blocking some of the windscreen as well, and the left right bars are actually quite thick, blocking again some important views from left and right corners. I am not sure how safe it is in actual driving, but definitely not very good impression to me.

Specs said the interior is made using Nappa leather. I am not sure what it is…supposed to be a very high quality leather. My feel is that while the leather is smooth, it doesn’t really give me any elegant feel inside the car. As what I have mentioned before, the steering wheel looks boring, even with leather. I would prefer a wood decorated type…or maybe not…have to feel then only know.

RCZ is ORDINARY when viewing from the front. Yes, is BORING and ORDINARY. It is just another Peugeot, 308, 407…etc. all uses different headlight design, and huge Peugeot logo at the center. Very eye-catching for the first time, but when you see all these 3 cars together…they looks so very similar and hence…BORING! I dreamed if only RCZ can have a totally revamped front design…to make it a clear distinguish from the rest of Peugeot family.

However, turning to the back of the RCZ is where all the bells and whistles is all about. It is like the Audi TT, but nicer and more modern look! Lovely curvature, the light blends with the body shape perfectly! The Lion logo looks great! The only improvement that I can think of would be a TWIN left and right exhaust system, making it more POWERFUL like!

You can lift up the rear spoiler manually with a push of a button in the car, but remember to close it down when you leave the car, as it won’t close down unless you manually close it yourself. The sales manager told me that it can be dangerous for some naughty hands to push the spoiler down and break the hydraulic system inside.

Manual or Automatic?

This is a killing question as well. Malaysia sold MORE Automatic transmission RCZ than Manual transmission version. Yeah…thanks to the traffic jams…manual car with clutch pushing up and down 100 times per trip (200 times round trip…or more), will require you going for foot massage every week!

However, it is such a waste to have a such a nice car in Auto, no? I have been driving Auto car almost all the time. Manually should be a little bit more fun to try out…but RM220k is not a trial and error game. You bought, no return and you better live or die with it. :P

Manual version has some extra features, besides 200 HP engine, it has the so called Music air coming into the HiFi system of your car, making those sitting inside hear more VROoom sound when pressing the gas. The two RCZ there were Auto, so I am not sure how good that manual sound it.

Taking about sound…I did start the RCZ (thought I can’t test drive it yet), and I am NOT impressed. There is no powerful sound like what we are expecting from a Ferrari…(am I asking too much from a 1600cc engine car?!). Doesn’t SOUND like a sport car…

Accessories?

While you can’t get any add-on accessories from Nasim, but they do help you to get some extra make up for your RCZ if you want to. I asked briefly…

1. VCool tint = RM2800 (take note that Puspakom will NOT approve any tint filter on your car windows…so this can only be done after you registered your car)

2. ??? body coating / polish = RM2200

If Only…

Yes…that’s a IF ONLY…I were to buy one…I will choose the Pearl White version, Manual Transmission…and asked nicely the sales manager to help me get a Silver Chrome rims if any Haria Grey owner is looking to swap.

VKool? No thanks.

Polishing? Maybe…will have to check that out first…

RM220k? Dream on…my wife said.

Astro Beyond…

Posted by KhoKing on Wednesday Feb 22, 2012 Under Rojak

Just upgraded to Astro Beyond yesterday.

I have been quite reluctant on the upgrade initially, for a few reasons:

1. Astro is trying to “force” user to upgrade, by downsizing the viewing size of their normal Astro.

2. Beyond is expensive…

Went to my sister in law house on Friday, she mentioned that she just upgraded, and the price is actually cheaper. I was surprised. Came home and on Saturday, I gave Astro a call.

I have actually called Astro a week before, asking about adding Astro On Demand package to my existing subscription, and add also Movie channels, how much would it costs? Hmm…a prohibitive RM180+.

Astro Beyond, with some HD quality movie, and extra channels, price at RM150+ (before 6% tax). Yes, is cheaper than the normal Astro subscription.

However, one thing worried me. The Astro service personnel on the phone said I have to change my house existing cable to HDMI cable. It is quite a tedious work if that has to be done, as my living room has wall furnished with wooden backdrop. I am not going to let them destroy that. Anyhow, I told him, just let the technician come and check what is the solution.

Yesterday, the installer came. He said I don’t have to change cable, unless my current cable is having too weak signal (which isn’t. I get over 70% signal strength).

So, install new satellite disc, new decoder, HDMI cable only from decoder to TV, new card, etc.

Done! and the signal strength is over 90%! Most probably due to the bigger disc and newer disc (clean).

My Sony LCD TV is now is able to show movie and shows in FULL. No more downsizing, and can actually enjoy the real quality of HD TV!

My Dream Car…Peugeot RCZ

Posted by KhoKing on Tuesday Feb 21, 2012 Under Rojak

Got poisoned with this car recently. It is not an ultra luxury car, at around RM220k, still quite prohibitive for me.

The look is stunning, killing. The speed isn’t the purpose of buying this car. You don’t race with this type of sport car, but merely to attract the turning head / attention and get special parking in front of hotel lobby privilege.

Peugeot official website uses flash in the design, which makes browsing a pain with low speed internet connection, and you can’t really download the photos from there easily. I have a big monitor with me, so I print screen some shots that I think are nice and share them here…for my own dreaming purpose…feel free to dream together!

I don’t really like the interior design of RCZ, not as luxury as I would have expect from a sport car. The steering wheel can be made much better, with cruise control buttons and audio control on it (they are now placed below the signal and wiper handles, so you got in total 4 handles around the steering). Old design, I don’t like it. They should have used the 508 steering!

I also don’t like the buttons in the middle dash board. Can be made better, and the clock while is useful can be improved with a watch maker (Tag Heuer?).

The handbrake…why so tall?!

The seat, while it is nice that Peugeot uses high quality leather, I just don’t like the one piece back design till your head. I prefer the head back to be of separate. Why make it so tall?

While I am saving my money for the dream car…Peugeot, go improve the interior design of the RCZ and make it a more lusting car! :D

I Love Starbucks! Green Tea Special

Posted by KhoKing on Saturday May 28, 2011 Under Rojak

I love Starbucks drink…but can’t take it daily. Not only because it is expensive, but also it is too heavy fatty sweety for the body. Not a healthy drink for everyday drink. :P

Still, I will get like once a week a Starbucks drink. Today I went to get one for a treat of myself…after meeting a customer at Jusco. For your info, you will get 10% discount if you present your Jusco J Card to Starbucks, yes it is valid at ALL Starbucks outlets as per the waitress there.

I don’t know what the above called. I just asked for a recommendation from the waitress and she recommended this. Something like Green tea with Soya with hazelnut with syrup…etc. Costs over RM20. Quite expensive for a drink isn’t it? :P

How would I rate it? Hmm…too much flavor in my opinion. I don’t really like it. A normal one might be better with not so much mixture of taste.

Bright…brighter…

Posted by KhoKing on Friday Dec 3, 2010 Under Rojak

Went and bought some florescent lights yesterday. I have wanted to add some extra lights to my office for a long time, finally yesterday went and bought the lights. Yes, I planned to DIY myself.

I thought it was easy job (it actually is easy), but then I fixed the wire wrongly and burnt a tube and 4 starters. Got so frustrated. Google for some schematic diagram and finally able to get the light to work. Took around 2 hours for me to wire and fix the light myself. It is very bright now in my office, which I think is good. It gives better mood / feel for the staffs that work here all day, no more “cloudy” feeling. :)

Learnt:

  • Life wire always to the ballast
  • Life is brown or red
  • Neutral is blue or black
  • Earth is green or yellow

Total cost? RM99.70 (not inclusive of the burnt tube and starters. Need to buy again the starters, I got a new spare tube.)

McDonald’s French Fries…HALF Full? Half Empty?

Posted by KhoKing on Saturday Aug 14, 2010 Under Rojak

Few weeks ago, I went to McDonalds to buy some “junk” food for myself and my family at night. I used the drive through method to make the purchase with my little kid in the car. It was like around 9pm.

Everything was smooth, drove through, purchased, reached home.

When opened up the package at home (together with GCB burger), to my dismay…the french fries in the bag is only HALF package! I paid for LARGE set and I got only HALF the fries! Not that I wanted to eat that much but I felt being cheated. There is no way that the waiter in McDonald can’t see the package is HALF full when they packed it for me!

kkk_2006.jpg

Got really frustrated with such service from McDonalds.

The next day I went back to the McD and asked to see his manager. Told him the story and my disappointment. The manager is such a young guy (looks like only 20+). He offered me a new french fries which I rejected to take. No, I am not there to beg for a new french fries junk food.

Where is the McD? The one besides the Shell station at Skudai UTM. Next time if you purchased things via drive through, make sure you check the content before leaving.

The next time you make your booking at AirAsia…do take note on the Convenience Fee that they are going to charge you if you use your CREDIT CARD to pay for the ticket.

Yes, by default they will want you to pay via Credit Card, so that they can charge you the Convenience Fee (RM5 per person if I remember correctly). If you chose to pay via local bank (Maybank, CIMB…etc.), then you will see that the Convenient Fee is automatically waived off. However, my last use of AirAsia is that they don’t allow me to pay via local bank, as the page is NOT working right for Other Banks. So I am FORCED to pay using my credit card and have to pay extra RM15 for 3 person booking. I pay one time, but they are charging me as per person’s booking.

airasia-convenience-fee.jpg

My total paid amount is RM265, while the convenience fee is RM15. This meant I paid 5.66% for using my credit card.

Is this legal? I thought Master and Visa forbidden merchants from charging customers when using the credit card?

AirAsia…they will try to squeeze whatever that is possible from you… :(

(Update: Just found out that AirAsia has this Convenience Fee page:

http://www.airasia.com/bd/en/confees.html

So called to subsidize the costs of the payment systems at AirAsia website…yeah…right…)

How to Become a Successful Affiliate? (success = earn more $$$)

Posted by KhoKing on Thursday Jul 29, 2010 Under Rojak

How to become a successful Affiliate?

How many how good or how many visitors your site has, if nobody clicks on your affiliate link, or if some clicks but did not complete the purchase at the merchant’s site, then you are getting no money.

How to become a successful Affiliate?

You will want your visitors to purchase the items from your Affiliate partner. You will want your visitors to complete the deal. You will want your visitors to convince that the item/s that he/she saw is worth buying. Instead of just putting up a banner of your Affiliate partner on your website, a more effective way would be to talk and discuss about it!

1. If you owned a blog, create a post to talk about your new Affiliate. Convince your visitors why you join the program and how reliable the merchant is. Share your shopping experience with your visitors.

2. Select and post up some interesting products from the merchant sites that you have purchase or might want to introduce. You can just use any image from the merchant site and embedded it with a link with your ref number on it to the merchant’s product page. Eg. of link with your Affiliate Ref. ID on it, and link to a specific product (products_id=1488):

http://shashinki.com/shop/product_info.php?ref=1&products_id=1488

3. DO NOT SPAM. Do not create bad name or impression by sending mass emails to your friends or strangers with the embedded Affiliate Reference ID on the link / banner. SPAMMING created very bad impression, which will be very hard to get clean up.

4. Put the Affiliate banner on a good location on your website. A banner is only as good as when people saw and click on it. You are not earning from impression, but from the actual sales that have been concluded.

5. Suggest any new idea to the merchant (We, ShaShinKi, listen!). Work together with the merchant to improve the conversion rate (from click to actual sales).

6. Get rid of the negative thinking of “I don’t want to promote too much…not worth for me to promote…etc.”. If you can’t, then you should remove yourself from joining the Affiliate Program. You will not get paid unless a deal is closed. You will need to promote as hard as you can in order to close a deal.

Let’s hope that the above tips can help promote and generate more sales to all Affiliates participating in ShaShinKi!

Booking Air Ticket at MAS – Malaysia Airlines

Posted by KhoKing on Wednesday Mar 31, 2010 Under Rojak

I just found that there is a cheaper ticket hidden under Grab a Deal at MAS website.

http://www.malaysiaairlines.com/my/en/dest/get-the-deal/signup.aspx

I also learned one thing. Do not use FireFox to making the booking if you planned to pay using Maybank2u or CIMBClicks. The payment page requires a pop up window, but FireFox will not show it and you will be just waiting and hanging there forever. If you refreshed, it will then show an error page.

Use IE and you will be fine.

the so called…SUPPORT FRIEND!

Posted by KhoKing on Tuesday Oct 6, 2009 Under Rojak

Have you ever heard someone saying…

“Hey…I support you…I buy this from you…you give me best best price lah!”

backstab.jpg

Your friend is selling computer, doing it as a business to support his family and life. You plan to buy a computer, so you thought of him and want to “support” him.

You went to his shop, said “hey friend, I want to buy a computer for my kid, you give me best price then I support you and buy from you lah!”

THINK AGAIN!

Are you really supporting your so called FRIEND? Or are you trying to TAKE ADVANTAGE from your friend?

Your friend is making living from selling computer, and yet you are trying to squezze him and ask him to give you the lowest possible price and to SUPPORT YOU! So this is the friendship you are talking about…

A true friend won’t mind paying more to support the business of another friend, that is what I think is the true support. So next time if you want to buy something at the lowest price from your friend, don’t use the word “Support him” again instead of “Support ME!”.

My Latest Nikon…best investment!

Posted by KhoKing on Sunday Oct 4, 2009 Under Photography, Rojak

My old spectacle is having problem…the leg is almost broken. I made that one in Japan, age only around 1.5 years and costs me quite a lot.

No choice, have to do a new one…as I am a “no spec can’t see” person…very high degree in far sight.

Went to a nearby spectacle shop last week to do my spectacle. Don’t want to spend much initially, but then can’t find one that I am happy with.

Test tested the Nikon frame, quite nice and is quite light (not heavy). It is a spring type, so is comfortable to wear and should be more lasting. The frame is made out of titanium (yeah…as if I am going to put it through test…). Anyhow, RM420 for the frame and I swipe my card…

kkk_4818.JPG

The nose resting design is quite special. Simple and quite comfortable. Take a closer look at you will see Nikon wordings on it too.

kkk_4821.JPG

The side frame has Nikon wording too and the spring design is not thick.
kkk_4819.JPG

Together with 1.67 slim multicoated lens, it costs me RM610. Ok…way above what I have planned initially but since it is going to be my daily Nikon…no choice lah…better than any other Nikon items that I have bought but only use occasionally. :P

Blood Sucking CIMB Credit Card Charges! Licensed Ah Long!

Posted by KhoKing on Tuesday Aug 4, 2009 Under Rojak

Today I checked my credit card bill, and to my shocking, I saw two charges from CIMB bank on my credit card bill:

1. Late Charges = RM34.66

2. Finance Charges = RM36.59

I paid my bill on 10 July 2009, and I think the due date was 06 July 2009. Ok, I was few days late, so I understand that there will be some charges, but I didn’t expect it to be that much!

My total dued amount was only RM3465.68, and the total charges / penalty above is RM71.25, which is equivalent to 2.056% of the total amount that I dued! If you calculated annually, that is equivalent to 24.67% annual charge that CIMB charged you!

Licensed Ah Long, I don’t know how can this Ah Long still exist legally.  Realising the crazy rate, I have immediately paid my this month CC bill now. It would be crazy to let CIMB get another cent from my pocket. Crazy…

Get Attention from Police

Posted by KhoKing on Friday Jul 17, 2009 Under Rojak

An interesting “True Story” and I saw in the net. Author unknown…
————————————-
George Phillips, an elderly man, from Meridian, Mississippi, was going up to bed, when his wife told him that he’d left the light on in the garden shed, which she could see from the bedroom window. George opened the back door to go turn off the light, but saw that there were people in the shed stealing things.

He phoned the police, who asked “Is someone in your house?”

He said “No,” but some people are breaking into my garden shed and stealing from me..

Then the police dispatcher said “All patrols are busy. You should lock your doors and an officer will be along when one is available.”

George said, “Okay.” He hung up the phone and counted to 30.

Then he phoned the police again.

“Hello, I just called you a few seconds ago because there were people stealing things from my shed. Well, you don’t have to worry about them now because I just shot them.” And he hung up.

Within five minutes, six Police Cars, a SWAT Team, a Helicopter, two Fire Trucks, a Paramedic, and an Ambulance showed up at the Phillips’ residence, and caught the burglars red-handed.

One of the Policemen said to George, “I thought you said that you’d shot them!”

George said, “I thought you said there was nobody available!”

Water Filter System – PureGen UF-2000 (Genuine California product?)

Posted by KhoKing on Friday Jun 19, 2009 Under Rojak

I bought a water filter system for my house – Puregen UF-2000.

This is how the produt looks like:

puregen-uf2000.jpg

I think it is made in Malaysia, the PureGen logo is just a translucent sticker pasted onto the stainless steel, not direct printing like in the picture above.

I checked Puregen.com website, no information about Malaysia distributor, and I can’t find the above model as well. I have sent them an email inquiry, will see if this is truly a California USA product or not.

How much I paid? RM1200 before installation.

(There is a longer model, UF-2500.)

Only recently did I know that many foreign workers use money changer to send money back to their home country.

Few weeks ago, the Indonesian workers working on my house got cheated by the money changer located inside Jaya Jusco, Taman Universiti, Skudai, Johor. The money changer is just next to the ATM machines.

Below is the story that was being told by them and their boss to me.

The four Indonesian workers use to send money (total RM4200.00) back to their home country using money changer in Kuala Lumpur, so far so good. As they have been working here in Johor for a month+, they plan to send money back to their family in Indonesia. Their boss brought them to the money changer in Jusco, thought that it should be safe like in KL. A day after they sent the money, their family in Indonesia still haven’t received. So they went to question the money changer. The money changer said that they admit that they have to wait till month end to gain interest (which I think illogic as normally interest is counted as minimum amount in a month, you can’t get interest from just a few days saving.). The money changer told the Indonesians tha he will pay them back the money on 1st June 2009. The money changer even gave them a handphone number of “said his boss” to talk to. Also trying to convince them that they all are of the same religion, so will not cheat.

On 1st June, the Indonesian workers went to Jusco to seek the money. Shockingly, the money changer counter is CLOSED at 12.30pm when they reached there.  They tried to call also nobody picking up the phone. When they called the money changer so called boss, he did pick up the phone and said that he already instructed and gave the money to the money changer there. Then hang up.

When inquired the staffs at Jusco, they said the counter has been closed since yesterday, and the money changer guy came yesterday briefly and then closed shop. The money changer did not inform Jusco management that they are closing down. There have been a few inquiries from some Vietnamese, possibily got cheated too (I guessed).

A police report has been made, but not sure how this thing can be solved or the money can even be gotten back. Today is already 07 June 2009 and the money changer counter is still closed (I went to check yesterday).

It is a pity that they Indonesian workers have work so hard for the money, but got cheated by those poor soul money changer.

The Indonesian workers have to send money to their hometown family, so they used a safe method this time, Western Union and CIMB Bank. Not much money this time, as most have already been cheated (the RM4200.00).

Hope the police can get the cheater, since it is a registered company and I believe Jusco management should have all the details/info.

Oral B Toothbrush – Year 2005 production still selling on rack!!!

Posted by KhoKing on Monday Jun 1, 2009 Under Rojak

Went to Jaya Jusco to buy a toothbrush, as usual, Oral B.

Bought one, RM4.90, Vision model.

kkk_2841.JPG

When checking out just now at home, very shock to see that the toothbrush production date is year 2005!!!

kkk_2840.JPG

Zoom in!

kkk_2840-z.JPG

Though the expiry date is 10 years from the production date, but how come a toothbrush that is over 4 years 5 months old be still on the rack? If the one I bought now is 4 years 5 months OLD, is this model still in production or they are simply clearing the old design model / stock at RM4.90?!

Hmm…must check out the production date next time when buying toothbrush too. I think it is bad to sell such an old product on the rack.

(By the way, it is MADE IN CHINA.)

You Are Being Lied to About Pirates

Posted by KhoKing on Monday Apr 20, 2009 Under Rojak

A great article which I think is worth reading, gives you a different perspective of the Pirates of the Somalia…

The story of the 2009 war on piracy was best summarised by another pirate, who lived and died in the fourth century BC. He was captured and brought to Alexander the Great, who demanded to know “what he meant by keeping possession of the sea.” The pirate smiled, and responded: “What you mean by seizing the whole earth; but because I do it with a petty ship, I am called a robber, while you, who do it with a great fleet, are called emperor.” Once again, our great imperial fleets sail in today – but who is the robber?

Joke – Good Laugh… (must read, sure laugh!)

Posted by KhoKing on Tuesday Mar 24, 2009 Under Rojak

Read this in the internet, not sure of the original author. A good laugh…

In a trial, a Southern small-town prosecuting attorney called his first witness, a grandmotherly, elderly woman to the stand.

He approached her and asked, ‘Mrs. Jones, do you know me?’.
She responded, ‘Why, yes, I do know you, Mr. Williams.
I’ve known you since you were a boy, and frankly, you’ve been a big disappointment to me.
You lie, you cheat on your wife, and you manipulate people and talk about them behind their backs.
You think you’re a big shot when you haven’t the brains to realize you’ll never amount to anything more than a two-bit paper pusher. Yes, I know you.’

The lawyer was stunned.
Not knowing what else to do, he pointed across the room and asked, ‘Mrs. Jones, do you know the defense attorney?’
She again replied, ‘Why yes, I do.
I’ve known Mr. Bradley since he was a youngster, too.
He’s lazy, bigoted, and he has a drinking problem.
He can’t build a normal relationship with anyone, and his law practice is one of the worst in the entire state.
Not to mention he cheated on his wife with three different women. One of them was your wife. Yes, I know him.’
The defense attorney nearly died.
The judge asked both counselors to approach the bench and, in a very quiet voice, said,
‘If either of you idiots asks her if she knows me, I’ll send you both to the electric chair.’

Posted by KhoKing on Saturday Mar 21, 2009 Under Rojak

Saw this at Youtube.

A video reminder to all and myself. Always be alert when enter or get out of the house. Nothing much can be done in the case below, but let it be a reminder to all for the security in Malaysia nowadays.
