Yesterday was the 5th Year Wedding Anniversary of my wife and I. My wife bought a cake for celebration…
Sorry, cake got “damaged” a bit during car break.
Still delicious lah…and you can see Megumi can’t wait to taste it out already…hahaa…
Thanks dear, I love you. May God blesses our marriage and love forever. In Jesus name I prayed, amen.

Got my house key two days ago (Tuesday).
God is good! I only have to pay the overdue charges of around RM750! So much lower than I initially expected! The developer gave me 25% discount from the original price of RM10xx. They minus out all the holidays, hence the final fine becomes low.
Thank God for the saving.
Got the keys. 3 sets all together. One set has around 9 keys.
Next…waiting for renovation to start. I think still need to wait for 2-3 months before I can actually move in.
By the way, have also applied for water and electric facilities. Might take 1-4 weeks as according to the developer to install those two things, depending on the applications SAJ Holdings Sdn Bhd and TNB, so nothing can be done now (or no rush at the moment). Water deposit is RM90, while electric is RM280 + some other fees (I paid RM400 + RM10 stamp duty). Not exactly sure why the RM400, but will check the bill later.
Have the urge to move immediately to my new house…my very first and own house…home of my family (Lydia, Megumi and I). God is good, God is so good to me. ![]()

Going to get my house key soon…should be Monday or Tuesday next week. Will have to pay some penalty to the developer though, as they only give me 3 months to get the payment to them and it has been over 4 months now. It is around RM70 per day, so will need to pay around RM3k penalty.
The good side, finally…after such a long wait…let’s celebrate! ![]()

I plan to move BlogMalaysia to my Malaysia server, which is powered by Direct Admin and has no AWSTATS software installed. So I decided to take a screenshot of BlogMalaysia statistics before I migrate the data over.
BlogMalaysia has grown to become the largest blog directory in Malaysia, in a year + time and over 3.6k blogs in our directory and growing by around 30-50 blogs daily.
We have around 23k unique visitors in Feb 2009, which is around 780 unique visitors daily. Thanks you bloggers!

We have a family outing at Taiping Zoo yesterday.
At the entrance before going in. Ticket is RM8 for kids (3-8years old), RM12 for adults and RM10 for senior citizens (age 55 and above). The ticket counter said Taiping locals have RM4 discount…but we honestly tell her that we are not. Let’s support the local zoo.
We have to queue for the free tour car.
Elephant at the back.
At the fish / Koi pond.
Resting area before the exit. Raining the whole afternoon.
Da Yi (Foong’s sister).
Megumi’s favorite animal…BEAR!
Zebra and Giraffe.
Elephant.
We left the zoo at around 4.45pm. A 2 hours tour. ![]()

My sister asked me how come my photos so nice colour, what setting I use for my camera and if I use flash or not. It is hard to explain in words, so I have decided to write a small and simple tutorial here.
After discovering Lambency, my flash photography results have changed entirely. Flash no longer harsh and everything seems to be very natural even for indoor shots. I no longer scared of using flash, and no longer having the problem of “fake” flash type of photos. I have blogged about Lambency before, which you can read in the link below:
As to where you can get the Lambency diffuser, visit:
If your original photos are already of very harsh flash result, then editing will be very difficult. Not everything can be corrected in post processing, so try to get things RIGHT on the first place.

Chinese New Year 2009 in Miri
This is the first time Megumi came to Miri. I have not been back there, my home town, for 3 years+, since I went to Japan. Hmm…maybe not…I did went back during my sister’s wedding. Anyway, it is definitely Megumi’s first visit.
We went to my father’s house for Nien 30 dinner, which is a tradisional gathering of Chinese family.
My father in the middle (living room).
The cheong sam that Megumi wore was bought in Japan. I guess next year she can’t fit in anymore…

Thanks to Facebook…today I managed to get back in touch with an old friend in Japan…Jenny. She and her family are now staying in SuChow, China, following her husband there.
My family and her family have a good and memorable time in Japan…really missed the time there. It is good to have a blog, as when you look back to the previous blogs…you can remember those nice friends and family in your life…
http://shashinki.com/blog/?s=jenny
Hope to be able to meet her and her family again one day. May God bless her and her kids, and husband. Protect them and their stay in China. In Jesus Christ name I prayed, amen.

One of my uncle passed away 3 days ago…on the 5th Feb 2009, Thursday. It is really sad…I met him during Chinese New Year 2nd day in Miri…He is the husband to my Ah Hung Gugu…my father’s younger sister. My father is the eldest son in the family.
I don’t know what to say to Ah Hung Gugu…I called her and talked to her for a while. Really feel sorry and sad for her and her two sons, Daniel and Lopek…hope they all will be strong and God be with us all.
Treasure those beside you and still in your life…in Jesus we trust and in Jesus we will reunion again one day.

This is a special birthday for me…my wife drove all the way from KL to JB (from Perak to KL the night before) to celebrate my birthday on the 3rd Jan 2009, Saturday. It is a long drive, around 4 hours from KL to JB, and around 3 hours from Perak to KL.
I can hardly believe my eyes when I saw her at Jusco Taman University. I miss her a lot…and miss Megumi very much too! She drove all the way alone from KL to Johor, which is a tiring journey, and couldn’t have Megumi accompanied as it would be dangerous to put Megumi at the backseat by herself for the long journey.
My wife bought me a very nice and shiny tie, which I like quite a lot. It makes me looks freshier with the light blue colour tie. I shall take a photo and add it later.
Here’s a photo of my wife and I taken on the 3rd Jan 2009. Thank you dear, thank God for protecting her and having Lydia in my life. May God continuing blessing and protecting us, and give us wisdom and fear to God. In Jesus name I prayed, Amen.
My housemates, Alvin and Janice remember my birthday as well, and Alvin baked a cake for me, which is a very big surprised to me. Really blessed to have housemates and friends like them…thanks, pals!

Yes, we participate in KLPF 2008 on 18-19th (Sat-Sun) at Berjaya Times Square, Kuala Lumpur.
From left to right:
(Kho King, Lydia Wong, Foon Ngok (Ms. Wong), Hoon King and Aini)
It is a tiring 2 days event, but it is definitely a fruitful event to be able to meet many friends and members of PhotoMalaysia, as well as many new customers and friends that only be able to get to know about ShaShinKi during this KLPF 2008!
Too tired right now, got some photos in my CF card, will post it when in a few days time.
Thank God things went smoothly, may all glory be in His name!

Here is the visitor statistics of BlogMalaysia.com, which I think is growing consistently.
We have over 13k of unique visitors in September 2008, meaning around 400 unique visitors per day. Do not confused unique visitors with number of visits, unique visitor is much more accurate of how many unique person/individual that visit your site. ![]()

Yeah…just bought a car yesterday…a Perodua Myvi!
Am I happy with it? Am I satisfied with the purchase? Any regret?
This is the colour of the Myvi that I have ordered:
Colour = Medallion Grey (Metalic). Actual colour is darker than the picture shown above, which is nicer than the picture above. If I would edit the picture, the actual car is more like the below:
I want a Pearl White actually, but no stock and have to wait for a month. Pearl White is RM400 more expensive than Metalic, and Metalic is RM500 more expensive than solid colour. The only available colour (in stock) coming next week is Metallion Grey and Glittering Silver (Metalic).
I don’t like silver colour, and the Medallion Grey is actually the latest colour from Perodua and I find it very nice. My wife doesn’t like silver as well, so we decided on the Metallion Grey.
The model I bought is Myvi 1.3L EZi (Automatic 4T) - Perodua Myvi EZi Premium -1300cc Automatic. There is a Sport Edition available at RM2k extra, which I find the design of the bumper to be really UGLY. Saves the RM2k and can buy more toys for my Megumi.
We actually went to Toyota showroom yesterday before we went to Perodua showroom. Having a few models in mind, we want to check out the actual cars before deciding.

Yes…I am back…after staying for nearly 3 years in Japan…I am finally back to the land of the my birth place.
It is glad to be back, though I still miss and like the life in Japan, but that is never my country. It is good to be back…to continue and restart the journey of my life.
So many things to do…so many plans…may God guide me and teach me…protect my family (Lydia and Megumi)…give me wisdom in doing things. In Jesus name I prayed, amen.
