Samsung Galaxy S – Again?!

Same price, RM2500. 
I also learned that there are AP set from Singapore and other countries, selling at around RM1.9k (8GB) and 2.1k (16GB) via Lelong.com. In Malaysia, there is only 16GB version from Samsung Malaysia.
Paying RM2k for a phone, I think it is safer to get an official warranty set.

Hi Weisaw,
The screen is huge, bright and very fine details.
The phone is responsive, very easy to browse and use. It is having 1Ghz processor inside.
It has 16GB memory inside. Should be more than enough for most.
The best thing about the phone is that it is using Google Android 2.1 (going to be 2.2) operating system! This is the hottest and huge potential software in the phone market now! Lots of free apps, and if you like Google, you are going to LOVE the phone (with Android 2.1)! Take note that some phone makers (eg. Sony) are still using Android 1.6 in their phone, which is a very old version of Android and is not so nice.

hey… im so glad i came across your website!!! hmm you make me wanna get this galaxy s so badly.. thanks to you, i got to know that bukit indah have samsung store.. but i was wondering, why didnt you buy it from maxis? i saw in the website its rm1699/1099? so its cheaper? is it because you wanna use digi? cause i too prefer digi!

I am on Digi line, and my monthly usage is only RM30 or less. Now with internet unlimited, it is around RM80-RM100 monthly bill.
Not sure about Maxis plan, I don’t like Maxis with tie and high monthly minimum amount.

Thanks for your reply.. I’ve just called Samsung in Bkt Indah. The price is RM2590. Its quite expensive for me but i really want this phone so badly!! At first i wanted to get iphone 4, went all the way to tebrau city to find out it is out of stock.. and cocky sales people..so i changed my mind. i dont want iphone 4… My brother suggested this phone to me.. And after i google it i came across your website. I think, it must be good cause both you and your wife also buy this phone?
But the maxis price is so attractive. RM1099. But same like you, i also prefer Digi for the unlimited internet. Im worried if i get maxis, and after i have used all the monthly quota,the charges will be so high.
Another question, if you dont mind me asking, without flash does it make a different to the picture quality? Thank you so much!!!

I bought it from the same store and the price is RM2500. You can try negotiate with them.
I don’t really use the phone to take photo often, but quality is quite acceptable to me from a phone camera. I use the phone for online / checking emails most of the time, and I think it works great in that area.

They always give the price of RM2590 when people called (I called to check too last time).
I don’t think the price is going to drop, as the phone is still selling very well! Make sure you check the phone carefully, the last one I bought is their last display set, but I know about it and check and took it. Don’t want to wait for their next shipment, so is ok.

Oh thank you. Im going to get my set tomorrow from Maxis.. rm2.5k is too expensive for me so i sign up with maxis just to buy the phone at rm1099!! >_<
Is there anything i should be aware of.. I already asked the girl just now.. she said the phone is 16gb memory.. What else should i check ya? What will i get in the set ya? Charger? Earphone? Btw did you buy external memory card? How big and how much ya? MAy i ask, normally how is your internet usage? is 3gb too little? I am really worried if exceed the 3gb and will be charged upon extra usage..
i bet you and your wife really like this phone, thats why both of you also take the same phone? I am so glad!!! I really hope i will make the right decision.. ^_^
