今天我和我教会的师母有个约会。地点在youmemokuba.

我们教会的师母温柔有礼，还很漂亮。你看像松岛菜菜子吗？这是她的小儿子，1岁半，第一次来youmemokuba.

小加藤跟他爸爸，我们教会牧师长得很像。

有时师母会来我们家探访我们. 关心我们，跟我聊天。她怕我一个人和诺诺呆在家很寂寞。谢谢牧师师母的爱心。愿神记念你们手所做祝福人的事工。

这个礼拜天，诺诺将要参加她人生中的第一个比赛～赛爬！！对手是79个6个月到1岁以下的婴儿。没错，加上诺诺一共有80个选手！！刚刚才会向前爬的诺诺将面对有史以来最激烈的竞争。我们这个星期有比较努力练习，千万不要以为我们怕输哦，我只是希望诺诺到时不要跟我向后爬而已，哈哈。

差点忘了，他们到时要爬全程80meter的路程。看来比赛回来后还得给诺诺的美腿马杀鸡一番了。

Tooth filling in Japan

The filling in my tooth came out yesterday, so “immediately” I went to see a dentist. I remember there is a clinic in the apartment where I stay.

To cut the story short…I got the hole filled in less than 30 mins and the bill is only JPY1500 (using medical insurance booklet). Quite cheap…in fact, cheaper than Malaysia.

Pain? No pain. The dentist give me a dose to numb my gum and the teeth area, so the whole process has no pain at all. Very good job and I might go there again just to check up my other teeth.

ShaShinKi.com Design Version 2

I have again spent my last weekend in updating the design of ShaShinKi.com, trying to give a more advance and elegant look to it.

The homepage or door to ShaShinKi.com store is still the same. The major changes is the shop part.

In my initial design theme, the main colour is black, with gradient grey and white. My wife said that it is not so good to make the website looks so dark, so I change the background to something more refreshing, but not too bright or unfriendly for the eyes.

I chose red as the main colour of the background, not the bright eye piercing red but dark elegant red. I want the feel of big curtain in an orchestra hall, presenting the store of ShaShinKi.com to the world.

Besides the background, I have also changed the infobox bar colour to something more 3D and also enlarging the font so that it can be read easier.

I just loss $$$ within a few hours…

USD to YEN exchange rate is really poor these few months. I have waited and waited and waited…till cannot wait any more so today I changed out some money…yeah…at the lowest in the graph above…and suddenly after a few hours USD sore HIGH like rocket!!!

Err…arh…ouchh…

我的好朋友美燕，她们家以前是开酒家的，她妈妈我叫阿姨，别人叫阿娇，做的料理特别好吃。2007年新年后阿姨就退休了。可是她煮的食物实在是太好吃了，离乡背井的我，常常自己揣摩她的秘密食谱。今天，我做了卤猪耳。虽然不能做到跟阿姨100％一样的味道出来，但是用来安慰一下思念家乡的心，还可以啦。。

今天我终于做成了炸油条！虽然长得不是太好看，可是味道很接近了。哈哈，想不到在日本还可以吃到炸油条，真是幸福！！！

New Product Page Design at ShaShinKi.com

I spent the last weekend in redesigning the product page at ShaShinKi.com, I am pretty happy and satisfied with the results…so here to share with you all my excitement.
I have always wanted to make the product page more user friendly, clearer and easier to browse. With my limited knowledge in php, I have to spend extra time to try and error.:P

Here’s the results:

What are the changes?

1. Product image has moved from right to left.

2. Bigger product image (250 x 250px) now, give clearly view of the product.

3. Clear listing of Brand, Category, Model #, Stock Status, Price and Quantity selection.

4. For product/s with Option, it will be shown below the Price before Quantity.

5. Boxed Picture. Personally I find this makes the image neater to show.

6. Brand name Clickable, to browse products under the same brand.

7. Added a title bar “Product” to the right column of the product page.

I hope this gives a better shopping experience to my customers at ShaShinKi.com. You can see the actual product page in action at:

瘦身大作战

我们最近不是拍了很多照片吗，不看则已，一看惊人，我们家原来不是只有诺诺和她爸爸有福相，诺诺的妈妈也越来越臃肿。既然有图为证，减肥的事就不能一拖再拖了！

为此，我们家从昨天开始与瘦身大作战！

考虑到如果马上将我们的最爱：煎炸肉类等从菜单中删去，那我们的减肥计划应该很快就会失败。所以，初步计划就是将每天的菜单定为一天有肉，一天没肉。不许吃宵夜。白饭不可吃超过两碗。午间不能吃日本点心。

幸好春天来了，青菜都很便宜。就今天，我买了很多蔬菜水果。不信你看。(我希望诺诺她爸爸不会晕倒)

明天就吃擂茶吧！

Who said I don’t smile

Megumi’s gigi is growing “out”. Now, she has 4 tooth + 1 on the way coming out. Her gum get itchy all the time and that really makes her very unconformable. Only when her father hold her high then she will laugh loudly.
