We went to Kagamiyama Koen today, near my university.
(correction from my friend, Alvin, the pinky flowers below should be 梅花)

Recently, I got lots of free print coupons…few hundreds photos…so must take lots of photos to get printed. So…my wife and I decided to bring Megumi out today (we planned few days ago) to take photos of sakura. Yes, some already blossoms!
We are surprised that there are many cars in the garden! Didn’t expect to see so full in the carpark…seems like many are like us…wanna come early to enjoy sakura view while it is not yet that crowded.
Arriving at the carpark…

First sakura tree…very pinky red Sakura (correction, should be 梅花)!

There are actually just few trees that started blossom, many still empty. However, good enough for us to pose pose…and we spent like more than 30 mins there.
White sakura

Megumi is very curious of the flower…and we have to sacrifice some in order to get the shots…

See…can bend 90 degrees to grab the sakura!

Another one…

and another one…

posing with mum…

Megumi through sakura…

Can you see mum?

While shooting from a small hill…I saw some beautiful birds flying around, but my lens (Nikon AF 135mm F2 DC) isn’t long enough…and the birds are quite actively flying here and there…here are a few snap shots:

Can you see the bird?

Here’s a closeup of the Sakura…

Back to land shooting…putting Megumi on the grass…

I quite like these on the ground shots…but my wife said dirty…so have to shoot fast…

Megumi getting really tired…see her rubbing her face on her mum chest…

Back to her “mercedes”…the car is a bit too short for her length now…

heading home…

It is a nice short trip…we have over 100 photos to develop (I shot 3GB of files)…will visit again in a week or two time…when Sakura blossoms more!
