Epson Europe Discontinued Epson R-D1 / R-D1s Digital Rangefinder Camera
Posted by KhoKing on Friday Jun 8, 2007 Under PhotographyAs according to a news from a UK magazine, Epson Europe has discontinued the world’s first digital rangefinder camera – Epson R-D1 and R-D1s that use Leica M mount lenses.
Launched in year 2004, Epson R-D1 is a 6MP digital camera. R-D1s is an update to the R-D1 with just software changes. User of R-D1 is able to upgrade to R-D1s via software/firmware upgrade.
While discontinued in Europe, Epson R-D1s will continue to be sold in Japan and R-D1 in USA. Successor of R-D1 has not been announced at the moment.

Crossing Bridges IV in Tawau & Semporna in Sabah – Malaysia!

Members from 4 different countries (Indonesia, Vietnam, Singapore and Malaysia) are gathering in Sabah for the photo tour from 03 June to 08 June 2007. This year is also the visiting Malaysia year and the trip might be featured in local TV or newspaper later.
